Who we are
Being Bliss ("we," "us," "our") operates the beingbliss.org website and the courses, immersions, events, and 21-Day Challenge offered on it. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why, and how you can control it.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and a password (stored securely, we never see it in plain text), or, if you sign in with Google, your name, email address, and profile picture as shared by Google. In Account Settings, you can optionally add a display name, phone number, and Instagram handle. None of this is required.
Payment information. Course, immersion, and membership payments are processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We do keep a record of what you purchased, the amount, currency, and date, so you can see your own payment history and so we can confirm access to what you've bought.
Course activity. We track which lessons you've completed within each course, so we can show your progress and let you pick up where you left off.
21-Day Challenge activity. If you use the meditation challenge, we record which nights (and, once unlocked, mornings/middays) you've checked in, so we can track your streak and completion.
Event and immersion registrations. If you register for a free event or reserve an immersion, we keep a record of that registration.
Contact form submissions. If you reach out through our contact form, we store your name, email address, and message so we can read and reply to it.
How we use this information
We use your information to run the site: creating and securing your account, giving you access to what you've purchased, tracking your progress through courses and the 21-Day Challenge, processing payments, managing your event and immersion registrations, and responding to messages you send us. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with advertisers.
Third-party services we use
To run the site, we rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication.
- Stripe — processes payments. Stripe has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your payment details.
- Google — if you choose "Continue with Google" to sign in, Google shares your basic profile information with us as described above.
- Vercel — hosts the website itself.
Cookies
We use only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Data retention
We keep your account and activity data for as long as your account is active, so your course progress, purchases, and challenge streak stay intact. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us and we'll take care of it, subject to what we're legally required to keep (for example, payment records for tax and accounting purposes).
Your rights
You can review and update your account details from your dashboard at any time, and you can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (for example, under GDPR if you're in the EU) — reach out and we'll do our best to help.
Children's privacy
Being Bliss is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
